Deep Cleaning Your Berthoud Rental Home’s Bathrooms

Cleaning Supplies as the Focal Point of a Bathroom in a Berthoud Rental HomeOne of the most appropriate parts of first moving into a new home is how clean everything is. A valuable landlord will make sure that each room of the home, from the kitchen to the bathrooms, has been thoroughly cleaned before move-in day. But after long periods and day-to-day usage, even bathrooms that are maintained from week to week will require a good deep cleaning. To keep your rental home’s bathrooms sanitary and in good condition, you should finalize certain deep cleaning tasks every few months to certify that your bathrooms are kept sparkling clean.

Possibly, one of the areas that will require deep cleaning the most is your tub, shower, and showerhead. Each of these will have to be deep cleaned regularly to remove residue buildup and water spots. One of the stress-free methods to decontaminate any bathroom surface is by mixing a few drops of white vinegar with a cup of baking soda to make a paste. Spread the mixture over the tub or shower door and let sit for an hour, then wipe and rinse clean. For shower walls, try scattering them with an all-purpose cleaner and then run the hot water until the shower fills with steam. Close the shower door and let the cleaner sit for about twenty minutes, then wipe down with a wet sponge or cloth.

Vinegar is perfect on sinks and showerheads as well. To clean a sink with vinegar, simply pour out a small amount, scrub, and flush with hot water. To clean a showerhead with white vinegar, fill a bag with it and then place the bag over the showerhead so that the entire fixture is soaking in the vinegar. Secure with a rubber band or twist-tie and let sit overnight. The next morning, remove the bag and wipe the showerhead clean.

Another part of the bathroom that you should deep clean repeatedly is the toilet. While there are several toilet cleaners on the market, the most efficient way to deep clean a toilet is by using baking soda. Simply pour a cup of baking soda into the toilet bowl and let sit for about five minutes. Brush thoroughly with a toilet brush and then flush to rinse.

Lastly, if your Berthoud rental home’s bathroom has tile, you will need to deep clean the grout regularly to avoid bacteria growth. Bleach and a grout brush are the top choices to lighten discolored grout lines and kill anything trying to grow between your tile. To truly keep grout watertight, reseal it every six months or so to keep moisture and bacteria out. Bleach can also be used to aim any mold growing in windowsills or other areas. Simply mix one part bleach to two parts water and scrub any mold spots with a sponge.

Deep cleaning a bathroom doesn’t need to take up plenty of time and energy, but it is pertinent to do it regularly. Once you realize how to deep clean a bathroom the way the experts do it, you can more effortlessly stay on top of this significant job.
