Secure with a rubber band or twist-tie and let sit overnight. The next morning, remove the bag and wipe the showerhead clean.
Another part of the bathroom that you should deep clean repeatedly is the toilet. While there are several toilet cleaners on the market, the most efficient way to deep clean a toilet is by using baking soda. Simply pour a cup of baking soda into the toilet bowl and let sit for about five minutes. Brush thoroughly with a toilet brush and then flush to rinse.
Lastly, if your Berthoud rental home’s bathroom has tile, you will need to deep clean the grout regularly to avoid bacteria growth. Bleach and a grout brush are the top choices to lighten discolored grout lines and kill anything trying to grow between your tile. To truly keep grout watertight, reseal it every six months or so to keep moisture and bacteria out. Bleach can also be used to aim any mold growing in windowsills or other areas. Simply mix one part bleach to two parts water and scrub any mold spots with a sponge.
